Is there an assessment before admission to the Home?

We do carry out a full assessment by visiting all new potential residents to the Home.

How are fees paid?

Fees are due on the first day of every month paid directly into Cherry Lodge bank account.  For the first month only to take into consideration the date of admission you will be invoiced for that month.  Thereafter an invoice will only be provided for your records of fees that have been paid via standing order.

Is there a Notice Period?

There is a notice period of one month.  However if there is a death fees will only be charged until the room is cleared completely.

How do you charge for Respite Care?

Fees will be payable in advance of admission.

Are there set visiting hours?

We do not have set visiting hours, friends and family are welcome to visit whenever convenient to our residents.  However, if your visit continues over  lunch or supper time we will ask you to make yourself comfortable in the lounge with a cup of tea or coffee until the meal is over.

Can family and friends attend social functions?

Family and friends are always welcome to join in social functions.

Can family take residents out?

Residents are encouraged to go out with family or friends as often as they would like to.

Are special diets catered for?

We do cater for all recommended diets which are presented to look appetising and taste delicious.
